SOME MORE SERVICES

•          Book Exchange: Leave a Book - Take a Book! The library has started a book donation corner with the title “Give a Book and Take a Book”. Anyone can donate book/s to the library. Anyone who wants a book from this collection can take the book (by filling up a register entry). The library is helping needy students to get access to the books required by them for studies. In a way, the library is trying to promote the circulation of books rather than selling them as scrap. 

•          Blog: The library has created blog https://librarypggcg42.blogspot.com/ for updating the students about the new event of the library. The blog gives information about the collection and rules and regulations of the library. A list of Podcasts also provided in the Blog. The blog provides a gateway to INFLIBENT; National Digital Library of India (NDLI) and WebOPAC of the College Library. In the Blog, link to various databases which are freely available in the public domain is provided.

•          Wall Magazine: Every person in the world has an extraordinary talent, and library of this college has provided its students a space to display their talent. Students can give their creative work, maybe a poem, a story or a painting to the library. The library will make a pdf of the work along with students photo and affiliation and will be displayed at the library Kiosk

•          CAS for Journals Subscribed by the library:  The library compiles the list of the table of content of the journals subscribed by the library. The list is put on the blog and also circulated among the staff members of the college.

•          Reading Room for Faculty: Library has recently created a reading room for faculty of the college. In this way, library has provided a space for self-study and research.

•          Membership of INFLIBNET and NDLI: Every user is requested to contact the library staff for getting access to NDLI and INFLIBNET.

•          Tutorial for the use of Library and Internet Resources: Every user is most welcome to ask about OPAC Surfing, INFLIBNET, and NDLI Access, Search Strategy, Plagiarism and any topic regarding library use.

•          Plagiarism check Through URKUND: Urkund is an automatic text-recognition system made for detecting, preventing, and handling plagiarism, regardless of language. The library has got access to the Software and started a service to check the plagiarism

•          Membership of DELNET: DELNET has been established with the prime objective of promoting resource sharing among the libraries through the development of a network of libraries. DELNET has E-books, E-Journals, E- databases, and offers inter-Library loan & Document Delivery Services to its member libraries.
