General Rules

1. Competitions are open for all classes.
2. A student can participate in any three competitions.
3. Students should clearly write their name, class, roll number and house at the back side of their entry.
4. Student have to bring their own material.

6. Winners will be judged on originality, Creativity, neatness and use of theme.
7. Winners will be given prizes and certificate.

Rules for Book Mark Making:

Theme: Importance of Reading in Today’s Digital Era 

1. Size of Bookmark should be not less than 2" x 6". Designs may be either horizontal or vertical.  
2. Please tie a thread or ribbon on the bookmark. Use any type of colors and accessories
3. One-hour time will be allocated.

Rules for Poster Making:

Theme: Importance of Reading in Today’s Digital Era 

1. Size of Poster Making should be not less than 36” x 48” or A3 size. Designs may be either horizontal or vertical. 
2. Caption should be mentioned on the poster. No slogan should be written. Use of any types of colours are allowed.
3. One-hour time will be allocated.

Rules for Slogan Writing:

Theme: Importance of Reading in Today’s Digital Era 

1. Size of Slogan Writing should be not less than 36” x 48” or A3 size. Designs may be either horizontal or vertical.  
2. Maximum word limit for the slogan is 15. Use of any types of colours are allowed.
3. One-hour time will be allocated.

Rules for Handwriting Paragraph:

1. Students will be provided with a paragraph in English. They should write and submit the written paragraph in ruled paper.
2. Students should finish the paragraph in the given page only.
3. Students should use Ballpoint pen, Gel pen only.
4.  Use the same writing instrument throughout the entry.
5. Use only black/blue ink to write.
6. DO NOT use a whitener / correction pen.
7. One-hour time will be allocated.

Rules for Rangoli:

1. The Rangoli should be drawn in the space fixed by the judges. It will be same for every district for all the participants.

2. Time of one and half hours will be allocated to the participants to draw the Rangoli.

3. No pencils and chalks are allowed to make rough sketches as it has to be traditional.

4. Authenticity and uses of traditional motifs will be given more weightage during the judgement.

5. The space provided will be of measurement 3 feet by 3 feet. Participants have to complete their art work within the given space.

Rules for Book Jacket Making:

1. Choose any bestselling book for making book cover
2. Size of the book cover is 8x5 ½ and 2-inch spine. Please bring already cut sheet.
3. The cover must contain Title, Author & Publisher.

Decision taken by the judges will be final and shall be accepted by all.

Note: Winners will be given Prizes, Certificates and Refreshments coupon. Participants will get Refreshments coupons.
