                                        LIBRARY RELATED COMPETITIONS

Library of Post Graduate Govt. College for Girls, Sector-42, Chandigarh organized Library related Competitions on Children Day and National Library week on 14th November 2025 in Library with great enthusiasm. Various activities like Book Mark Making, Book Jacket Making, Book Hunting and Rangoli were organized to promote reading habits among students. Students participated actively in competitions and prizes were awarded to the winners. Respected Principal Prof. Dr. Anita Kaushal was the Chief Guest. Madam gave away the prizes to the Winners and congratulated all the participants. Anishika B.Sc. Comp. Science 3rd, Priyanka Singh B. Com 3rd, Jayantika MA 2nd Sociology bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize respectively in Book Mark Making. Priyanka Singh B. Com 3rd, Manpreet Kaur B. Com 3rd, Khushboo BA 3rd bagged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prize in Book Jacket Making Competition. Divya Prabha BA 1st, Priyanshi BA 1st and Jayantika MA 2nd Sociology bagged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prize in Book Hunting Competition. Diksha Mago BA 3rd, Smita BCA 1st and Sonam BA 1st won 1st, 2nd and 3rd Prize in Rangoli Competition. Principal Madam also motivated all the students to make the full use of library resources and asked them to come to library regularly. Dean Dr. Anju Trikha and Dr. Abha Sudarshan, Judges, Dr. Manpreet Kaur and Mr. Vinod Kumar were also present. Librarian thanked the Principal for her support in making the competitions successful.
